To use the pension calculator, regional setting is required to be changed from English United States to English United Kingdom. To Change Regional Setting goto

Click Region and Language
In Formats Menu, change format from English United States to English United Kingdom
remember to enter date with slash”/” format. For example 15/12/2006 dd/mm/yyyy, as excel recognize / as date field.
